Your DNS cache stores the IP addresses of domains you have recently viewed.
If IP of website was changed before updating DNS cache, the website would not be available.
If you see HTML code 404 error or don?t have access to website, try to clear your DNS cache.
After you clear DNS cache, your PC will query names of servers for the new DNS information of website.

Open the Windows Start menu.
Go to Run.
If you do not see the Run command in Vista, search for “run” in the Search bar.
In the Run text box, type: ipconfig /flushdns
Press Enter or Return, and dns cache of Windows OS will be flushed.

Go to Applications.
Go to Utilities.
Open the Terminal application.
Type: dscacheutil -flushcache
